Superlivestream

24/7 YouTube Live Stream

Keep your YouTube channel live every hour of every day, from the videos you already own. Superlivestream runs the stream on our servers, restarts it if anything drops, and sends it in up to 4K at 60 fps. Your PC stays off.

  • No card to start
  • No OBS, no PC left on
  • From $19 a month

Every hour live is an hour that can be watched.

A stream that runs only while you are awake leaves most of the day empty. Slide to your typical audience and compare a 4 hour daily stream with a 24/7 one.

A quiet new channel might see 2 to 5. Established ambience channels see hundreds.

It is prime time somewhere, every hour.

Your audience is not all in one time zone. A 24/7 YouTube live stream is on when each of them sits down for the evening, without you staying up.

Evenings, 7 pm to 11 pm local, in standard time. A stream run from your own PC covers one of these windows. A 24/7 stream covers all of them.

How to set up a 24/7 YouTube live stream.

Four steps, about ten minutes, once.

  1. Turn on live streaming

In YouTube Studio, choose Create, then Go live. The first time, YouTube may ask you to verify your channel and can take up to 24 hours to switch it on.

  2. Copy your stream key

In YouTube Live Control Room, open the Stream tab and copy the stream key. Keep it private: it lets anyone stream to your channel.

  3. Upload and build a playlist

Upload your videos to Superlivestream, up to 20 GB each, and put them in order. Choose loop, quality and landscape or 9:16 vertical.

  4. Start, then switch off

Paste the key, press start and close your laptop. The stream keeps going and restarts itself if YouTube or the network drops it.

Know YouTube's 12 hour rule before you chase watch hours.

Watch time for monetization comes from public videos on your channel. YouTube saves a live stream as a video automatically when it is shorter than 12 hours.

Make a 24/7 stream people find and stay on.

Lead the title with what it is

Put the main search phrase first, then the mood or use. Keep the word live honest: the stream really is live.

Rain sounds for sleep 24/7: dark screen, no ads in between

Curate, do not repeat one clip

A real playlist of your own work reads as a channel, not a loop of the same seconds. It is better for viewers and safer under YouTube's reused content rules.

Stream only what you have the rights to

Music and footage claims can take a 24/7 stream down. Use your own work or properly licensed material, and keep the licences.

Pick the quality your source supports

60 fps needs a source recorded at 50 fps or more, and 4K needs a 4K source. Superlivestream prepares each video once so the stream stays smooth.

24/7 YouTube live stream questions.

Can you live stream 24/7 on YouTube?

Yes. YouTube allows live streams to run around the clock, and many music, ambience and news channels do. You need live streaming turned on for your channel, the rights to everything you stream, and an encoder that keeps running. Superlivestream is that encoder, running in the cloud.

How do I stream prerecorded videos 24/7 on YouTube?

Upload the videos to Superlivestream, put them in a looping playlist, paste your YouTube stream key and press start. The videos play out as a live stream until you stop it. See the four setup steps.

Does a 24/7 live stream count toward YouTube watch hours?

Watch time counts from public videos on your channel. YouTube saves a live stream as a video automatically when it is shorter than 12 hours, so a single broadcast that runs for days may not be saved. YouTube decides what counts toward its Partner Program; see the 12 hour rule.

Do I need OBS or a PC running?

No. Superlivestream sends the stream to YouTube from our servers. Once it is started you can switch your computer off.

What happens if the stream drops?

It restarts on its own, and the stream's history records when and why. You do not need to be awake for it.

What quality can I stream to YouTube?

Up to 1080p at 60 fps on Starter, Creator and the HD plans for 10 to 20 streams, and up to 4K at 60 fps on Pro, Pro Max and the 4K plans, landscape or 9:16 vertical. YouTube accepts 4K live streams.

How much does a 24/7 YouTube live stream cost?

Plans start at $19 a month for one 24/7 stream in 1080p at 60 fps, with no hour caps and no watermark. A yearly plan costs 10 months. Try it free for 3 days first. See all plans.
